Gianyar Territory Government Got IGA Award 2010

Gianyar regency awarded as innovative territory government in 2010. For this reason, Gianyar regency got a position in national grade award as the nominee of Innovative Government Award (IGA) in 2010 in increasing innovation of territory competitiveness program with One Village One Product (OVOP) approach from Ministry of Domestic Affair.
IGA Award 2010 had given by General Secretary of Ministry of Domestic Affair to Gianyar Regent named Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati in Ministry of Domestic Affair Office yesterday. Gianyar Regency being nominator with thirty regencies other and eliminate 437 regencies in Indonesia. This award gave to Gianyar regency because of this excellent innovation in four categories. They are governance subject, public service improvement, human empowerment, and territory competitiveness improvement. The one of policy innovation is the form of 5 area improvement zones, the form of HKI Clinic, and both business and government website providing.
The other policies like the form of Philip Kotler Museum as the first marketing museum in the world, empowerment of economic democracy through banjar koperasi and people empowerment through 7 superior programs that become a surplus for this team in achieving this award. “This award is the result of Gianyar people hard work in improving tourism and handicraft industy,” said Gianyar Regent named Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati after receiving this achievement. This achievement expected could improve creativity of Gianyar people.
